We now use Cree’s XLamp® XRE LEDs in all our cool white units due to their superior lumens maintenance and lumens per watt performance.


You would expect these units to have a comparable output to at least 20w halogen.

We use Nichia LEDs for all our 3x1w Warm White units due primarily to the colour.
Its the best Warm White that we've seen - true "incandescant" colour.
A 50w halogen bulb produces roughly 500 lumens.
These bulbs produce 50% of the total lumens output of a 50w halogen bulb.
